San Ildefonso Black-on-black Pottery Jar, signed "Maria Popovi 767", the tapered neck with classic Avanyu pattern, (scratches), ht. 4 1/2, dia. 5 1/2 in. Estimate $800-1,200 Has a few scratches, mainly in the matt part, and some splotchy discoloration in the lower glassy glaze. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
