John Joseph Enneking (American, 1841-1916) Mixed Bouquet Signed and dated "Enneking 77" l. r., titled and identified on a presentation plaque. Oil on canvas, 22 x 18 in. (55.8 x 45.7 cm), framed. Condition: Craquelure, extremely minor surface grime. Estimate $2,000-3,000 The craquelure is stable, and the canvas is stretched with Boston tabs. There is natural fluorescence in many of the orange and yellow pigments, plus retouch to the vase and some of the leaves and background. The frame is period or nearly so, and measures 32 x 27 1/2 x 3 1/2 in. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
