Including: an octavo-format journal recording the meetings of the proprietors of the Woman's Journal in Boston, beginning 21 February 1870, organizers at this time were Henry Blackwell, S.E. Sewall, Ebenezer Draper, Julia Ward Howe, Lucy Stone, and Caroline M. Severance, through 1896, with accounts, in different hands; a book of share certificates for the proprietors of the Woman's Journal, with stubs filled out, a few of the signed certificates still present, and blanks, c. 1911-1917; eighteen issues of The Woman's Journal, 1884-1906 (eleven of the eighteen duplicates of the November 1884 issue); [and] five issues of The English Woman's Journal, June 1, 1858 (two issues); July 1, 1860; August 1, 1860; and September 1, 1860.
