British Pattern 1796 Heavy Cavalry Saber, c. late 18th/early 19th century, steel hilt with a wooden grip, marked on the counter-guard "W-Y-C/M/91," steel blade, and a steel scabbard, blade lg. 34 1/4, overall lg. 40 in. Provenance: The collection of Ron Tunison. Estimate $300-500 Some spotting on the steel parts but in overall good condition. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
