Civil War-era Cannon Sponge/Rammer, c. 1861-65, green-painted wooden haft with sponge head on one end, and knurled wooden cartridge rammer head on the other, overall lg. 77 in. Estimate $300-400 Sponge has some wear from use but in overall good condition. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
