British Pattern 1822 Infantry Officer's Sword, c. 1820s, brass hilt with "GR IV" on the guard, wire-wrapped shagreen grip, and a steel blade, blade lg. 32 1/2, overall lg. 37 1/2 in. Estimate $200-300 Sword is in good condition with remnants of brass cleaner on the hilt, blade is a gray color with no visible surface rust.
