WHITNEY/US" in front of the cock, dated "1851" on the tail, breech marked "P," barrel lg. 33, overall lg. 49 in. Estimate $2,000-4,000 Stock has a few dings and nicks, barrel retains some brown, there is a spare nipple inside the patchbox, a little bit of pitting on the nipple cone, the lock functions properly, and the bore is good and sharp with some light scattered pitting.
