Bird's Head Pommel Sword and Scabbard, c. early 19th century, brass "P" hilt, carved bone grip, steel blade with blued top half and gilt foliate designs, panoply of arms, and eagle, with scabbard (missing drag), blade lg. 30, overall lg. 34 1/2 in. Estimate $700-900 Sword is in good condition with much blue and gilt remaining on the blade, scabbard is missing the brass drag. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
