Late Medieval Witches Beheading Axe, forged iron with a witch's foot symbol near the bottom of the blade, two armorer's marks stamped near the shank, with a tapered socket, ht. 14, wd. 9 1/4 in. Provenance: Rodney Hilton Brown Collection; The War Museum. Estimate $1,000-2,000 Some nicks and dings in the blade but in overall good condition.
