George Freeman (Connecticut, 1787/89-1868) Pair of Portraits of a Gentleman and Lady The gentleman signed and dated "G. Freeman 1843" l.r. Watercolor on paperboard, 7 3/4 x 6 3/4 in. (sight), in velvet mats and gilt frames. Condition: Pigment loss to gentleman's coat, moisture staining to u.l. of lady, not examined out of frames.
