Pine and Ash Cross-base Candlestand, probably Massachusetts, late 17th century, the circular top on a heavy vase- and ring-turned post and base with chamfered edges, remnants of old red wash, (imperfections), ht. 25 1/2, dia. 14 1/4 in. The property of Bill McKeever Estimate $800-1,200 evidence of large chip coming out of top, which was glued back in long ago; repairs to base; pieced repair to cleat; refinish probably early/mid-20th century.
