George III Brass-inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock, John Elliot, London, early 19th century, ht. 89, wd. 18 1/2 in. Estimate $600-800 clock is refinished, the hood is with shrinkage cracks, door of the hood not closing flush to case, shrinkage cracks to the base, finish loss to both sides of base, chip to molding below hood, and exhibits four missing brass inlays to quarter columns.
