Silas Hoadley "Time is Money" Shelf Clock, Plymouth, Connecticut, mahogany case with half-round columns flanking the full-length door, the lower section marked "Time is Money," the center section with a mirror, and the top over the painted wood arabic numeral dial, topped by a stenciled splat and all on paw feet, wood thirty-hour "upside down" movement powered by two cast iron weights and regulated by a pendulum, ht. 38 in. Estimate $300-500 Mirror and lower glass replaced. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
