Fauth & Company Surveyor's Theodolite, Washington, DC, 1937, green-painted brass instrument with 19-in. long scope and 1 3/4-in. dia. objective lens, mounted to a "U"-shaped receptacle, tapered shaft mounted to rotating 9-in. dia. disc with internal scale, opposing microscopes for reading the scales, engraved as above, with 8-in. long spirit level, all housed in its original fitted dovetailed pine case.
