Staffordshire Commemorative Pink Lustre Jug, England, 1823, polychrome enamel decorated with coat of arms to one side, a verse and Farmer's Arms to the reverse, below the spout inscribed "Francis Whitehouse 1823," ht. 6 3/4 in. Estimate $300-500 Shallow chip and glaze abrasion along side edge of spout; slight star hairline to glaze by date (does not appear to go through); staining to underside of base.
