Two Manual-wind Chronograph Wristwatches, c. 1950, a Pierce with copper colored dial with tachymeter and telemeter outer tracks, 60-minute subsidiary dial at 12, and constant seconds at 6, luminous hands and numerals, 17-jewel caliber 134 manual-wind movement; and a John Wannamaker with silvered dial, concentric turned subsidiary dials, and a 17-jewel Landeron 48 caliber movement, dia. 35 and 37 mm. Provenance: Collection of Bernhard W. Stoeber. Estimate $300-500 both currently, setting and running, chronographs functioning as intended, Pierce chron hand not setting back to 0.
