Rare set of three Massachusetts silk on linen samplers, wrought by sisters Mary Jane , Deborah , and Sarah Allen in the years 1832 , 1829 , and 1827 , 16 1/2" x 17". They were the daughters of Captain Rufus and Deborah Allen. Provenance: Descended in the family to the present owner.
