19th Century Wheel-cutting Engine, Switzerland, freestanding hand-powered wheel-cutting tool on cast iron legs, supporting a brass frame with 5 1/2-in. dividing plate, geared cutter apparatus operated by a turned wood handle on a horizontal beam with lever-bar lock for the wheel blank axis.
