Newton & Co. Monocular Field Microscope, 3 Fleet St., Temple-Bar, London, lacquered brass instrument with screw-mount main barrel, damascened square plate with X-Y adjustments, knurled knobs for triangular pillar adjustment, "A"-frame base engraved as above, housed in a small mahogany fitted carrying case with original green paper label. Estimate $300-500 adjustment knobs function but shafts have small bend to them, interior box has some broken pieces but seems complete.
