Cizhou-painted Stoneware "Tiger and Deer" Meiping, China, Yuan dynasty style, decorated with a landscape with a tiger, deer, and pine trees, foliate scroll bands around shoulder and bottom, silver-clad neck and mouth inscribed with Chinese marks including one reading "95% yin" (silver) and a four-character shop mark, ht. 10 1/2 in. Estimate $800-1,200 some potting and glazing flaws, possibly reconstructed base with old chips, numerous surface scratches. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
