Copper Red-glazed Dish, China, 18th century, with shallow, rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot, the rich red glaze thinning to a white rim at the mouth and foot, six-character underglaze blue Qianlong mark to the base, dia. 8 1/4 in. Provenance: The collection of a New England gentleman. Estimate $2,000-3,000 minor surface scratches particularly to the interior, a potting flaw to mouth rim, minor glazing flaws.
