Yellow Brass Hand Warmer and Cover, Japan, Meiji period, decorated in relief with an eagle to the cover, an inlaid copper monkey in mountains to one side of the warmer, white metal handle, ht. 4, wd. 5 1/8 in. Estimate $700-900 minor tarnishing and spots of metal corrosion, minor nicks to handle. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
