Shimazu Satsuma Vase, Japan, 19th/20th century, baluster shape with waisted neck and bottom, depicting two landscapes with warriors and courtesans in two panels against a patterned ground, signed with Shimazu family crest, ht. 7 1/4 in. Estimate $200-400 gilt loss and taping and glue residues around mouth and foot rims. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
