Satsuma Crane-neck Bottle Vase and Cover, Japan, late 19th century, globular form with four applied ribbon designs, decorated with two bird-and-flower designs alternating with two figural landscapes in four lobed panels, the long neck with friezes of figures, butterflies, and floral and geometric patterns, impressed mark possibly reading "Kozan" on base, ht. 8 1/8 in.
