Miniature Satsuma Tsuitate Table Screen, Japan, 19th century, in the shape of a framed rectangular plaque on two arched supports, each side decorated with a rooster and flowers in relief, unsigned, ht. 5 7/8, wd. 6 3/8 in. Estimate $500-700 an old chip to a foot, craquelure with firing cracks particularly to underside, minor gilt loss. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
