Mocha Quart Creamware Engine-turned Mug, England, c. 1790, with painted yellow stars and floral sprigs on alternating bands of brown slip separated by engine-turned vertical ribs of white, strap handle with painted sprig decoration, ht. 6 1/4 in. Provenance: The Jonathan Rickard Collection. Estimate $300-500 Three inch crack in the rim, and short cracks in the body, chips on the rim, staining.
