Needlework Sampler from the Providence Juvenile Academy, Providence, Rhode Island, 1829, wrought in dark thread on a linen ground, composed of two arches, one containing alphanumeric lines, the other containing an adage and the maker's name, "Miss Abby Gonsolve [? ]," and age, the school identified at lower edge, dated at the foot of one column, (toned), 7 1/2 x 17 in., in a molded figured wood frame.
