Richard Ball Spencer (British, 1812-1897) Portrait of the Barque Erinna of Maitland, Nova Scotia Signed "R. B. Spencer" l.l., ship identified along the lower edge. Oil on canvas, 19 1/4 x 31 in., framed. Condition: Relined, restored with retouch, heavy surface grime. Estimate $2,000-4,000 According to a note on the backing board, this painting was restored in 1985. The same note says that it was found discarded just prior to its restoration.
