Frame with Eight Silhouettes of the Gould Family of Hollis, New Hampshire, early 19th century, frame composed of hollow-cut silhouettes of Ambrose Gould and Susan Farley Gould and their six children around a central family record in an eglomise mat, black-painted frame with gilt decoration, ht. 17 5/8, wd. 17 7/8 in. Note: The New Hampshire Historical Society preserves a portrait of Ambrose (1772-1843) and Susan's (1780-1827) daughter, Susan Elizabeth (1811-1881).
