Provenance: Marguerite Riordan, Stonington, Connecticut. Christie's, January 18, 2008, Lot 684. Estimate $400-600 shrinkage to top has caused a crack at the back edge and the box does not close quite flush. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
