Single leaf of laid paper inscribed over one page to an unnamed recipient, regarding the characters from Uncle Tom's Cabin, old folds, the letter broken into four pieces along folds, 8 1/4 x 5 1/4 in. "Eva is wholly ideal, the other characters, tho suggested by real persons, none of them embody a real history of anyone in particular."
