EVANS" and initialed "SC," the front of the handle with obliterated monogram, lg. 8 in., approx. 6.5 troy oz. Note: According to the consignor, "SC" may refer to Samuel Cabot (1784-1863), or Sebastian Cabot (1799-1833).
