Provenance: Skinner Inc., October 29, 1995, Lot 168. Literature: Kenneth Zogry, The Best the Country Affords, Vermont Furniture, 1765-1850, shows similar diamond inlay, plate 67. Estimate $1,000-1,500 shrinkage crack to top and lower left side; shrinkage separation to right side panel. minor patching and losses to inlaid edge of top and lower border above legs.
