Small Bamboo-turned Windsor Settee, New England, early 19th century, flat crest with bowed ends continuing to applied arms with scroll-carved handholds, on shaped seat and six legs, ht. 38, seat ht. 18, lg. 40 in. Estimate $800-1,200 There does not appear to be any major restoration or repair. The back bow is spliced together over an area about seven spindles wide, which appears to be how it was made.
