Humes, c. 1979, case marked on the outside lid with a gold eagle, marked inside the lid "ANTON REITTERER/ORDENSJUWLIER/WIEN IX/SCHUBERTG. 24," a red and white sash, cross and ribbon, and silver order, case lg. 12 3/8, wd. 5 3/8, ht. 2 1/2 in. Provenance: Presented to Ambassador Humes by President Kirchschlager of Austria in 1979 for service as ambassador in 1939; then by family descent. Estimate $1,000-1,500 In like new condition.
