New Model 1859 Sharps Carbine, c. 1860, serial number 34242, walnut stock with two crisp cartouche marks, brass patchbox, marked on the top of the barrel "NEW MODEL 1859," barrel lg. 22, overall lg. 39 1/8 in. Estimate $1,500-2,500 In very good condition but missing the brass front barrel band, with a small repair on the stock at the toe of the butt.
