Photolithograph on cream paper, image size 14 3/4 x 10 7/8 in. (37.5 x 27.4 cm), framed. Condition: Several fox marks, not examined out of frame. N.B. Typical of his biting commentary on society in Weimer Germany, Grosz contrasts a line of poor factory-workers shuffling to work at 5:00 am along the top of his composition, while below, wealthy businessmen are still reveling with prostitutes and alcohol.
