Early 19th Century Tongan Club, lg. 36 1/2 in. (92.7 cm). Provenance: A private Cambridge, Massachusetts, collection. Note: Old paper label attached reads: "Australian Paddle. Presented to John Dovaston by Com-General Looker 1851." Estimate $1,000-1,600 A crack around the collar, with a string binding as a repair, some loss to edges of paddle..
