Dogon Face Mask, rectangular, with narrow projecting medial ridge bisecting the hollowed out facial plane above a pointed triangular mouth, the two large rectangular eye frames are surmounted by an overhanging brow which is framed by two pointed horns, covered with a dark encrusted patina with red and white paint, ht. 16 1/4 in.
