Two Civil War Belts and a Canteen, c. 1861-65, a black leather Model 1851 cavalry or dragoon belt (missing belt plate tab and a small portion of leather); a Model 1852 NCO or museum belt with plate, and a Model 1858 smooth side canteen with a jean cloth cover and cotton drill strap (piece missing). Estimate $200-400 Cavalry belt is missing a small piece of the leather from the sword hook and the plate tab. The NCO belt is complete and has some verdigris, and the canteen has some moth holes in the jean cloth, the cork stopper is missing, and a part of the strap is missing. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging.
