Remington New Model Army Revolver, c. 1863-65, serial number 4554, .44 caliber, octagonal barrel, six-shot cylinder, brass trigger guard and walnut grips, the left with partially legible inspector cartouche, (action imperfect), barrel lg. 8, overall lg. 14 in. Estimate $200-300 Metal pitted and brown, right grip is missing a piece along the back edge, and the hammer doesn't cock.
