French Light Artillery Saber, c. 1861-65, brass hilt stamped "67" on both sides of the guard, brown leather grip with brass wire, unmarked steel blade, and a steel scabbard with steel carrying rings, marked "CS-6.11.A/V.H.S./1938" near the throat, blade lg. 32 1/2, overall lg. 38 in.
