18th Century Fruitwood Varloper or Long Plane, France, 31 1/2-in. fully decorated body with a carved fleur-de-lis at the toe, handle terminating in a delicately carved spiral, heart-shaped escapement, and chip-carved sides, branded "FAC" just below the tote.
