T. M Bardin 12-inch Celestial Table Globe, London, c. 1800, made up of twelve hand-colored engraved paper gores, decorated with constellation names, cartouche reading in part "The New Twelve Inch British Celestial Globe containing the exact positions of more than 3800 fixed stars," engraved brass meridian, and hour ring, paper horizon plate laid down on wood with engraved Zodiacal calendar by names, and signs, Gregorian calendar, and equation of time, mounted on a mahogany "X" form base with brass locking screw. Note: similair example in the exhibition Globes: Visions of the World - Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi.
