José Buscaglia (American, b. 1938) Pablo Casals. Signed "J. Buscaglia '73" and with a foundry stamp from Codina, Madrid, on the back of the base. Bronze with brown patina, height 12 1/4 in. Condition: Bend to the baton, surface dust and grime. Provenance: Gift from the artist to the family of the current owner. N.B. José Buscaglia Guillermety is an educator and sculptor. He is a Fellow of the National Sculptor Society and a founding member of the Academy of Arts and Sciences of Puerto Rico.
