Paul Zwietnig-Rotterdam (Austrian/American, b. 1939) Blenheim, WN 1583. Signed and dated "Zwietnig-Rotterdam 84" l.l., identified on a label from Nielsen Gallery, Boston, affixed to the frame backing. Graphite on paper, 31 1/4 x 47 1/4 in., framed. Condition: Subtle abrasions to edges of the sheet, not examined out of frame. Estimate $800-1,200 The sheet is floated within the frame and the general condition appears good. The outer edge of the composition is defined by a thin pencil line, and the abraisons occur outside of that line, suggesting the paper may have been secured with masking tape around the outside edge while the artist was working on the drawing.
