Set of Twelve Classical Carved Mahogany and Eglomise Dining Chairs, probably England, c. 1810-15, two armchairs and ten side chairs, the reeded crests with green and gilt reverse-painted tablets of opposing dolphins below foliate designs, above splats with tablets showing pastoral landscapes, with molded stiles, overupholstered seats, turned front legs, and raking rear legs, refinished, (some repair and damage), ht. 32 1/2, dp. 17 1/2 in.
