Five Mocha-decorated Pepper Pots, England, early 19th century, cat's-eye, cable, and leaf decoration, ht. to 4 3/4 in. Estimate $800-1,200 From left to right: 1. Ring below sifter has several chips, and there is a large chip on the base. 2. Two small chips on the underside of the ring below the sifter. 3. Rim below the sifter has restoration, there is a crack in the body. 4. Chips on the underside of the rim below the sifter. 5. Four small chips on the ring below the sifter, small chip on the base.
