Light Green/blue-painted Tiger Maple Blanket Box, New England, late 18th century, the molded lift top opens above a well with till, and dovetailed box with applied base molding, old paint, (imperfections, paint wear), ht. 15 3/4, wd. 48, dp. 18 in. Estimate $300-500 shrinkage cracks to top and around dovetails, part of till lid replaced, paint wear, scratches, and stains to top, total loss of paint to small area of front under keyhole, chunks missing around dovetail, base molding bowed at front edge.
