Terry & Andrews "Sharp Gothic" or "Steeple" Mantel Clock, Bristol, Connecticut, c. 1850, rosewood veneered case with a tin roman numeral dial, transfer-decorated lower tablet with an image of an eagle surrounded by floral swags and reading "E. Pluribus Unum," blue maker's label on interior backboard, eight-day time, strike, and detached alarm movement, with lyre- or harp-shaped brass plates, regulated by a floral and swag-decorated pendulum bob, ht. 20 in. Estimate $300-500 nice old finish, label in very good condition, some paint loss to dial around winding holes, some losses to glass tablet decoration.
